TRECVID Data Availability

Various types of data have been involved in the TRECVID workshops and the availability of these data sets varies by type and year as listed below.

TREC 2001 Video Track

• video files (MPEG-1)

The BBC data is no longer available. Download the OpenVideo files from the Open Video Project using list of video names in the guidelines. There maybe some problems in downloading because files have been moved or renamed. Buy NIST videos from the NIST Standard Reference Data site.

The i-LIDS data, the original source of the TRECVid surveillance data, is available for non-TRECVID participants through the standard i-LIDS licensing process
